After 20 years, Edward Francis was released from his life time sentence. He was charged when he was 17 for murder, even though he did not actually shoot but that he was involved. He was the first inmate to be realises under these standards. The attorney he was using pushed for his case because of his remorse and humbleness. Francis expressed that he is glad that he served his time but more options should be given to young people because at 17 it should not dictate the rest of your life.
